How to use this site: ANALYST REPORTS: One of the primary reasons for developing the Stock-Reports.Net web site was that in our opinion, there is a lack of investment sites on the Internet that provides substantive securities analysis. Each issue of The Independent Analyst's Report contains background information for each company, an earnings projection and a target stock price. We will scan literally hundreds of news items and stock charts to find the right stocks with solid fundamentals that appear poised for a major price movement based on our technical analysis. Once we identify the issue, we perform an in-depth research and analysis of the company to produce our report. I began my career in corporate financial systems management in 1987, developing an automated method for financial analysis by linking PC applications such as spreadsheets and database programs with IBM 3270 mainframe applications running under IMS and CICS platforms. However, my true passion was in studying companies' business practices and analyzing their stocks. I am well versed in not only the principles of fundamental stock valuation, but also adept at applying technical analysis. I am currently pursuing the CFA designation, and am a candidate for the Level III. In addition, I received an MBA from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va. and a Bachelors' degree with a double major in Economics and Political Science from California State University in Northridge. By the way, if you happen to live in the Washington DC area, and are interested in learning to use the online resources to help manage your investment decisions, I also teach a class on using the Internet for investment management, at Montgomery College, Rockville campus. Although I cannot offer individual investment advice, I would be glad to receive your feedback. Welcome to our site and good luck with your investing! John J.
